We'll go together, float on a feather...

After a long day at work on Friday, I did a bit of browsing while still at work before coming home to my shitty connection. Cruised to a few myspaces to see if anyone worthy was playing a gig this weekend, and before I knew it, had browsed onto Trillion.

So I get all excited at the mention of Vorn, immediately call up Mike and check whether he had Audio Agriculture at work. Computer said yes, so after a few more hours at work, I popped down to see him and grabbed me a copy.

Well, it wasn't quite what I expected, especially considering Jody Lloyd's (Trillion had been his moniker the last ten years) past projects, such as being a founder of Dark Tower. As you'll see from his site, Audio Agriculture in the 21st Century is "Ploughed, Re-Mixed and Re-Sown", nothing too much is done to the songs I knew, but he's added in a few extra's to justify calling it re-mixed. In my opinion, it's very much a breezy Sunday afternoon chill out (with or without the joint) awww that's nice album. Much like the song that currently is the theme for those "come to Christchurch" ads, John White's Float on a Feather portrays.

I thought it was a good buy to have, an awesome mix of great Kiwi talent, that isn't that commercialised radio thrashed stuff. How could he go wrong with The Bats on there anyway??
